SEPLITE® LSF974 Strong Acid Cation Resin
SEPLITE® LSF 974 is a gel type strong acid cation resin with polystyrene-divinylbenzene matrix and in monodispersed particles, it has a reticulated structure. Among the functional groups, exchangeable ions are evenly distributed on the surface of the reticulated space. Compared with normal SAC cation, it enjoys a much stronger matrix and which ensures its good resistance of osmotic shock.
The resin is suitable for fixed bed adsorption, moving bed adsorption and stirring adsorption. It was specially developed for applications like amino acid, lysine, thin juice, sugar etc.
Manufacturing process is fully compliant with European Union regulation on Ion Exchange Resins and Adsorbers used in the processing of foodstuffs ResAP 2004(3).
Please follow our start-up recommendations which is available upon request, when using our products in food applications.

SEPLITE® LSF974 Strong Acid Cation Resin Treatment:
Backwash the resin with pure water for 1-2 hours at the rate of 12-15m m3/h;
Add 5-10bv 4% hydrochloric acid and treat it for 3-4 hours;
Wash with pure water until it becomes neutral;
Regenerate with 2-4bv 6% ammonia.
SEPLITE® LSF974 Strong Acid Cation Resin Precautions:
Resins should be stored in sealed containers or bags where temperature was above 0℃ in dry conditions without exposure to direct sunlight. Do not mix ion exchange resin with strong oxidizing agents; otherwise it will cause violent reactions.
In case of eyes contact with resins, rinse eyes immediately with plenty of water, and consult a specialist.
Material and samples must be disposed according to local regulations.
Dry polymers will expand when become wetted and may cause an exothermic reaction. Spilled materials may be slippery.
