On June 24, 2020, the National Property Office of the people's Republic of China announced the list of patent special research projects of 2020, it has 30 projects in total all over the country. Sunresin New Materials Co. Ltd., Xi'an and Sunshine Intellectual Property Group applied for the project of "Patent Analysis and Research on High Performance Adsorption&Separation Materials and Application Key Technologies", and the project successfully shortlisted.

The special patent research project of National Intellectual Property Office is divided into two categories: patent business project and analysis project . This project belongs to analysis subject. It will mainly focus on metallurgical energy environmental protection, health care, and the food industry. It will analyze the development status of adsorption and separation resin industry at home and abroad, the development direction of Chinese adsorption and separation resin industry. Besides, it will also make some suggestions for the development direction and the patent layout in adsorption and separation resin industry.

Adsorption and separation resin industry is a national strategic emerging industry. China has become a big country in the production of resins. However, it come across some problems such as insufficient supply of high-performance resins and overcapacity of low-end resins. Some key technologies of synthesis and industrial application of high-performance resin still need to be broken through. Moreover, the industrial structure needs to be adjusted as well. According to the previous research, the adsorption and separation resin industry has not carried out patent analysis research at the industry level, and the existing patent analysis and research work is only limited to the theoretical research level, lacking comprehensive and in-depth industry level patent analysis.The development of the project is of great significance to the development of resins industry in China. Through patent information analysis, the key basic materials, granulation process, separation process and related production equipment in the field of adsorption and separation resin are focused, and the research status, technical hot spots and blank points at home and abroad are understood. In addition, the technology development status of key enterprises and patents layout at home and abroad will be found out as well. This will provides guidance for the key technology breakthrough of high performance adsorption and separation resin for Chinese enterprises, especially for the industrial application of adsorption and separation resin in the fields of health care and metallurgical energy.
