Sunresin to Join FTSE Global Equity Index Series
Sunresin will be added to the FTSE Global Equity Index Series ("GEIS"), following FTSE's most recent semi-annual review. This inclusion will become effective after the close of business on Friday, September 17, 2021.
According to the latest review on August 20, 71 A-shares, including 11 large-cap stocks, 12 mid-cap stocks, 41 small-cap stocks, and 7 micro-cap stocks will be added to the FTSE GEIS. Sunresin is set to join the index as a small-cap stock.
As a global index leader providing benchmarking, analytics, and data solutions for investors worldwide, FTSE Russell calculates thousands of indexes that measure and benchmark markets and asset classes in more than 70 countries, covering 98% of the investable market globally. Its indexes are used extensively by institutional and retail investors globally.
Inclusion in the FTSE Index will give Sunresin more visibility in the investment community on a global scale, attract more capital inflows internationally, and thus being more conducive to long-term development in favor of the company and its stockholders.
The inclusion of Sunresin in the FTSE Index also demonstrates the recognition, by the international investment community, of the increasingly dynamic Chinese market in separation and adsorption technology, as well as its keen interest in innovation-driving, quality-based Chinese companies in this area where Sunresin plays a major role.
