About Seplife® Ion Exchange Chromatography
The Seplife® dextran ion exchange chromatography resins use the dextran matrix of G series gel filtration chromatography resins (Seplife G-25 and Seplife G-50), and the ion exchange functional ligands of different properties are firmly bonded to the cross-linked dextran matrix.
Dextran ion exchange resins are usually stored in the form of dry powder, which must be swollen before use. It is widely used in low molecular weight proteins such as prothrombin and low molecular weight heparin.
SEPLIFE®, All You Need to Know about Ion Exchange Chromatography
Ion exchange chromatography is a column chromatography method that uses the difference in electrostatic force between the exchangeable ions on the ion exchanger and the various ions separated in the surrounding medium, and achieves the purpose of separation through exchange equilibrium. Ion-exchange chromatography has the advantages of high sensitivity, repeatability, good selectivity, and fast analysis speed, and is currently one of the most commonly used chromatography methods.
Use of Citric Acid and Sunresin’s Technology in Demineralization and Decolorization
The ion exchange process is an effective and mature process technology in the demineralization and decolorization of citric acid, and is widely used in the industrial production of citric acid.
However, the high osmotic pressure of citric acid causes repeated expansion and contraction of the resins during the fine purification process, and makes the resins bear a huge osmotic pressure, especially for anion exchange resins. Under this condition, the resins can be easily broken, reducing the service life of the resins and increasing the cost. This has become a common problem that holds back the development of the industry, and there was a strong call for a solution.
Sunresin’s uniform particle size resin plays a big role in the production of Bisphenol A
Since 2017, Sunresin has carried out research and development on BPA resins. From understanding the production process of bisphenol A to benchmarking against similar competition products, after thousands of experiments and demonstrations, the resins were be tested for the first time in 2022.
Sunresin Provides Customized Services and One-stop Separation and Purification Solutions for the Production of Allulose
During the processing from the corn raw materials to the final allulose product, Sunresin provides a complete purification process including: ion exchange deashing, activated carbon decolorization, chromatographic separation, etc., to achieve high-quality crystalline allulose.
Acetic Acid Purification with Sunresin’s Ion Exchange Resins
Sunresin provides a mature ion exchange resin process for acetic acid purification, which can remove bromine or chloride ions in acetic acid to less than 5ppm, or undetectable levels. The fixed bed mode is recommended for the ion exchange process for acetic acid purification, which runs continuously and removes impurities through the front and back resin columns to improve the removal accuracy and ensure the maximum utilization of the resins. For details, refer to the figure below.
Sunresin's Ion Exchange Technology Empowers the Lactic Acid Processing Industry
According to the forecast from 2020 to 2025, the global lactic acid market is growing rapidly, with the growth rate at about 12.8%. This means the value of the lactic acid market will double every five years, from $1.1 billion in 2020 to $2.2 billion in 2025.
Adsorption and Recovery of p-Chlorobenzotrifluoride with Seplite Resins
Sunresin’s VOCs treatment resin is a styrene-DVB matrix macroporous adsorption resin with a specially designed resin structure. It has a good mesh structure and a high specific surface area, and can be sieved through the size of the pores. Organic molecules are selectively adsorbed by interaction, intermolecular force or hydrogen bond interaction.
