Seplite® LSC495, Nickel Recovery in a More Cost-Effective and Eco-friendly Way
Sunresin is proud to offer a new generation of Nickel-selective chelating resins to overcome the disadvantages of solvent extraction methods: Seplite® LSC495 offers high selectivity for Nickel and is unaffected by Iron in solution. Consequently, no pretreatment is necessary, which makes it possible to reduce the losses of nickel. Regeneration of Seplite® LSC495 can be carried out by sulfuric acid and does not lead to saponification of the bis-Picolylamine chelating group. Thanks to its very high selectivity, this type of resin has made it possible to considerably reduce the cost of nickel production.
Some questions about using ion exchange resins in water treatment
In water treatment using Ion Exchange Resins, there are a number of points that need special attention.
Adsorption for Lithium Extraction, a key enabler for Paris Agreement CO2 reduction goals
Sunresin is strongly supportive of the CO2 reduction as set in the Paris Climate Accord by enabling this growing Lithium demand for energy storage which will provide strong opportunities for its patented and proprietary equipment, solutions and services.
Weak Acid Cation Resin for Potable Water Softening
Sunresin developed food grade Seplite® LSF983 series of macroporous weak acid cation resin based on a polyacrylate matrix. The Seplite LSF983® is very suitable for hardness (calcium and magnesium) removal from potable water (household water filters, pitchers etc), beverage and food applications. Besides hardness, it can also help to reduce certain level of heavy metals as Copper, Lead etc.
Macroporous Adsorbent Resin for Purification of Herbal Extracts
Sunresin recently developed Seplite LXA8101 a macroporous adsorbent based on a polymerized Styrene DVB matrix. The adsorbent has been so designed to offer a high capacity and can be used in the purification of many different herbal extracts. The pore size and surface characteristics of Seplite LXA 8101 have been optimized to offer a high selectivity and capacity for flavonoids & lactone, saponins, anthocyanin contained in the extraction liquor. Once saturated LXA8101 can be regenerated with alcohol or a caustic solution to start a new cycle. The polymer matrix has been optimized to provide good physical and chemical stability allowing for a long lifetime.
A Better Choice for Tungsten and Molybdenum Separation
Sunresin has set up special topics and established a special research team based on customers’ needs to conduct research and analysis on the element composition and existing technology of tungsten leaching solution, and successfully developed sepcial resin Seplite® LSC680 for tungsten and molybdenum separation as well as the matching process. Through special pretreatment to the feed solution, the molybdenum in the solution will be highly selectively adsorbed on the LSC680 resin, while the tungsten remains in the solution after adsorption. The separation of tungsten and molybdenum can be realized in a simple and efficient manner.
Acetone Purification and Cycling (Methylamine removal), solvent in the production of PPS (polyphenylene sulfide)
The ion exchange resin (IER) method is very excellent and efficient for acetone purification. Acetone will pass cation exchange resins first and then the anion exchange resins, more than 95% methylamine will be removed.
A New Breakthrough in The Process of Refining Ethylene Glycol from Coal by Sunresin Technology
Ethylene glycol (EG) is an important organic chemical raw material. It is mainly used to synthesize polyester polyester and polyester resin, produce hygroscopic agents, plasticizers, surfactants, cosmetics and explosives, and used as dyes, inks, solvent, formulating engine antifreeze, etc.
